The role
We are looking for a Lawyer with particular interest in structured finance and securitisation transactions to join our Securitisation team, working with Zina Edwards and Ed Macgregor. Zina is an experienced finance and restructuring lawyer, with a rapidly growing practice advising on a broad range of securitisation and structured finance transactions in Australia. Ed is a securitisation and structured finance lawyer with a unique professional background in corporate advisory and legal practice. Working directly with Zina and Ed, you will have the opportunity to advise issuers, originators, financiers and intermediaries on complex securitisation structures across a wide range of asset classes as well as structured transactions and alternative funding facilities. This is a fast-paced area of our team that acts for a range of onshore and offshore credit funds, asset managers and non-bank lenders.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Currently practising post-admission as a Securitisation lawyer, with exposure to or a demonstrable interest in securitisation and structured finance
- Intellectually curious and commercially minded
- A natural collaborator who thrives in a close-knit, supportive team environment
- Keen to get involved in the team’s business development activities
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and excited by the opportunity to grow with us
