ABOUT THE PROJECT

ETHOS is Chatswood's first luxury residential and mixed-use development in almost four years. Exclusively centered within the heart of Chatswood and valued at $60 million, Ethos is a rare collection of ultra-luxury 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom residences and penthouses enriched by remarkable vistas and experiences including wellness facilities, boutique retail and a sky lounge.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be reporting to our Senior Contracts Administrator, who enjoys coming to work with people that are self-driven and enjoys a challenge! You will be joining the team as they complete structure and move into fit out, and they need your help to kick into the next stage.

As part of the commercial team your role will be to drive procurement and let any outstanding packages as we work towards our competition date in early-mid 2025. At Growthbuilt, we support our commercial teams with ongoing training and development in all financial systems, so if you don't have Jobpac or Payapps experience, that's okay, we will teach you as you work through The Growthbuilt Way.

Here’s what a typical day might look like for you:

• Preparation of project procurement strategy, including allocation of packages to members of the project team
• Review project budgets and preparation of target budgets
• Prepare and maintain a procurement schedule in line with the works program prepared by the project manager
• Prepare and issue non-conformance reports, notice of delays, extensions of time and variations to subcontractors as applicable
• Prepare, issue and negotiate head contract payment claims in line with head contract requirements

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

Successful Contracts Administrators will take on a “whatever it takes” approach. You are the type of person who loves problem solving and will accept every challenge that comes your way, while being supported by your project team!

What success looks like in this role:

• Tertiary level qualification in Construction Management or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience as a contracts administrator working on projects to the value of $50-$100 million
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Jobpac, Payapps, Aconex and ProcurePro
• Proven ability to write scopes of work, negotiate and manage subcontracts and monitor the financial progress of construction projects
• Proficiency with head contract risk and compliance
• High-level communication skills with relevant stakeholder management
• High-level commercial expertise
• Self-driven, passionate and focused mindset that will set the standard for your team
