Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager the role is offered on a Max-Term Contract of 9 months with the potential to extend. FIFO Perth, 2/1 roster - Kalgoorlie.

About the role

We are seeking a site-based Lead Mechanical Engineer to support our client team during the construction of a mineral processing plant expansion. We will also consider a strong Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager the role is offered on a Max-Term Contract of 9 months with the potential to extend. FIFO Perth, 2/1 roster.

About you

  • Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with base metals, rare earth minerals and mineral processing in a design and construct environment
  • Experience in mineral processing plants including Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Thickening, Carbon in Leach, Elution and Electrowinning
  • Strong technical competence and willingness to apply engineering principles to a variety of technical topics
  • Ability to interact with a diverse team including other companies and consultants
  • Previous site experience on mineral processing plants is preferred
  • Strong deliverable focus
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to meet strict deadlines.
  • Valid rights to work in Australia - Essential
