About the role
We are seeking a site-based Lead Mechanical Engineer to support our client team during the construction of a mineral processing plant expansion. We will also consider a strong Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager the role is offered on a Max-Term Contract of 9 months with the potential to extend. FIFO Perth, 2/1 roster.
About you
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with base metals, rare earth minerals and mineral processing in a design and construct environment
- Experience in mineral processing plants including Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Thickening, Carbon in Leach, Elution and Electrowinning
- Strong technical competence and willingness to apply engineering principles to a variety of technical topics
- Ability to interact with a diverse team including other companies and consultants
- Previous site experience on mineral processing plants is preferred
- Strong deliverable focus
- Innovative thinker with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to meet strict deadlines.
