Inventory Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the egg products industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Inventory Specialist to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Ensure deliveries match purchase orders

2) Process deliveries correctly using proper receiving documentation, including follow-up on any issues or discrepancies

3) Enter received items into the company’s inventory management software with high accuracy

4) Put away received materials into the raw material inventory and deliver non-inventoried items to the correct department

5) Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality condition of orders prepared for shipment

6) Prepare cycle count inventories using the software as your guide

7) Conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies

8) Address inventory variances and inaccuracies as they are identified

9) Maintain equipment used in the shipping and receiving process

10) Work with the Quality Team to document non-conformances

11) Maintain traceability of components

12) Verify materials' condition and quantity against purchase orders

13) Manage inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy

14) Update software with appropriate information and notes concerning received inventory

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the egg products industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in inventory

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
