About the Role
Partnering with leaders, the HR Advisor provides expert guidance on HR policies, professional development, and employee relations. With a focus on continuous improvement and data-driven insights, the HR Advisor supports the business in strengthening culture and operational excellence through collaborative HR solutions.
Here’s what a typical day will look like:
- Partner with the business managers and the broader HR team to identify and roll-out employee initiatives and various HR projects.
- In conjunction with the business managers, develop, implement and manage learning and development programs for employees.
- Manage the onboarding, offboarding, and internal movements to ensure smooth, engaging experiences that support role readiness, continuous learning, and insights for improvement.
- Provide timely HR advice and support to managers and employees on the interpretation and application of HR policy, guidelines and procedures as well as workplace laws.
- Assist in employee relations and performance management.
- Work with business managers to interpret employee feedback data and identify appropriate actions.
About You
We’re seeking a trusted HR professional who thrives on delivering practical HR support and driving business success. If you have sound knowledge of Australian employment law, are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes and are passionate about creating a positive employee experience, we’d love to hear from you.
To be successful you will need to bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in an associated business discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in contemporary HR practice, with a focus on performance management, and learning and development.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SuccessFactors or Workday is a plus.
- Absolute commitment to customer service and delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations, show empathy, and build positive relationships across the organisation.
- Current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
