In the role of Summer Student — Network Automation & Operation Support, you will jumpstart your career with a summer placement supporting Enbridge’s Network Automation & Operations teams. Contribute to automation and operational projects while learning from industry leaders. It’s an excellent job for people who are passionate about network automation and eager to gain practical experience in a collaborative setting.

Placement Details:

This is a 4-month summer placement located in Chatham or Toronto, starting in May 2026.

What you will do:

• Support delivery of operational tasks (e.g., lifecycle switch operations).
• Assist in developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and automation scripts.
• Gain exposure to Azure, Terraform, and real-world networking environments.
• Work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Who you are:

• You are currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program studying Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics, and will be returning to full-time school immediately following the work term.
• Interest in Python, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and networking.
• Strong communicator, independent, and eager to learn.
• Entry-level certifications in networking, cloud, or DevOps are a plus.
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge’s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role, located in Chatham (preferred) or Toronto, ON
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
