The Opportunity

Reporting into the Dulux Senior Trade Brand Manager, this role will implement new product development projects and manage the delivery of products and projects into the trade and commercial markets. Working closely with various teams on a daily basis, your stakeholders will include (but are not limited to) the Trade Sales and Commercial Team, Innovation Centre, Supply Chain, and marketing counterparts in AU.

You will focus on implementing New Product Development projects and provide effective project management to ensure timely delivery of products and projects.  This is an exciting role where no two days are the same, but on a typical day you might find yourself;

  • Owning the day-to-day product management and marketing for the following brands, including but not limited to:
  • Dulux Trade Products
  • Rotacota and Dulux Branded Accessories
  • Porter’s Paints
  • Understanding the role of different media vehicles and use these to develop and execute product-focused (existing portfolio and NPD) marketing and communication materials
  • Gathering data for new products, from competitive research to product information set up, sales forecast, packaging development, sales forecast
  • Delivering trade and commercial engagement programmes
  • Managing trade and commercial events to ensure maximum leverage and consistent messaging across brands
  • Driving the internal sell-in of campaigns and product launches to trade sales and team, customer service centre, Dulux Trade Centres (DTC), and Dulux Trade Depots (DTD)
  • Implementing New Product Development projects and providing effective project management to ensure timely delivery of products and projects

What you will bring and develop

We're seeking an experienced Marketing professional who can demonstrate their passion for products, NPD, promotions, and communications! You will be confident in liaising with stakeholders and putting the customer at the forefront of everything you do. Ideally, you can demonstrate;

  • A degree qualification in Marketing/Business and/or a Commerce discipline
  • Proven track record in the launch and execution of NPD strategies;
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills;
  • The ability to harness consumer insights to develop strategies and execute activities;
  • Strong commercial acumen.
