About Us

G’day Group comprises leading Australian tourism brands in Discovery Parks, Resorts and the loyalty program G'day Rewards. Employing more than 2000 people Australia-wide, G’day Group has the largest park network in the country, offering an amazing customer journey.

The Role

Lead a high-performing workforce accommodation village in the heart of Onslow. Set against WA’s rugged coastline and wide‑open landscapes, this is where remote living meets operational excellence — a bustling Workstay environment that supports major projects, contractors, and business travellers. This is your opportunity to shape a thriving, people‑driven village and leave a meaningful mark on a vital regional asset.

This isn’t a quiet property. This is a full‑scale, high‑occupancy accommodation hub with 254 rooms, a busy dining operation, bar, pool, facilities, and seasonal powered sites. It’s a dynamic environment where teams are active around the clock, guests rely on seamless service, and your leadership directly impacts the experience of hundreds of workers.

We’re looking for someone with the balance of operational expertise, people leadership, and commercial awareness to drive the next chapter of the park - someone who can confidently oversee everything from food services and accommodation standards to workforce management, stakeholder engagement, and daily operations. With strong support networks behind you and autonomy on the ground, you’ll be the driving force behind both the village’s performance and its culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Taking full ownership of village operations including housekeeping, front of house, back of house, and facilities coordination
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a diverse workforce across all departments
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction
  • Driving business performance with a focus on margins, revenue, and ROI
  • Managing compliance, safety, maintenance, and site presentation
  • Working closely with regional operations on long‑term strategy and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need:

  • Leadership experience in village management, hospitality, accommodation, or remote-site operations
  • Strong people management skills, especially with multicultural teams
  • Experience overseeing food operations or kitchens (highly preferred)
  • Ability to manage rosters, performance, and workforce planning
  • Resilience, emotional maturity, and a steady approach in challenging moments
  • Commercial and operational acumen - budgets, cost control, compliance, and presentation standards
  • Food Safety Supervisor (desirable)
  • RSA + RMLV (or ability to obtain)
