The Role

This role is will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Finance System Replacement to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business processes.

Project Management:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact timelines or deliverables.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables through rigorous testing, validation, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure the project is managed and delivered to agreed scope, quality, time and budget where outcomes are fit for purpose.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and budget updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, driving efficiency and effectiveness across project delivery by understanding of the business goals, strategies, and challenges of the organisation and the industry
  • Manage execution of training and adoption plans, and wider change management

 Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors
  • Drive vendor delivery in alignment with overall project requirements and vendor contract, ensuring maximised value

Team Leadership:

  • Provide clear direction and guidance to project teams, motivating them to achieve project goals and deliverables.

 

About You

·      Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or other industry recognised training or qualifications

·      Proven experience (5+ years) managing system implementation projects, with a strong understanding of cloud-based systems.

·      Deep knowledge and use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar

·      Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and stakeholders at all levels.

·      Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate and negotiate in writing and verbally with stakeholders across all levels effectively and maturely

·      Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to resolving issues.

·      Experience and understanding of data migration and integrations development and strategies

·      Experience and understanding of information and cyber security

·      Experience in negotiating, resolving conflicts, and managing expectations.
