The Role

This position involves working within a team to provide great quality meals for a mix of indoor and outdoor dining options.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Food preparation and cooking to order during service, groups and outdoor dining
• Preparation and cooking of all dishes
• Experience on pans, grills and fryers
• Checking quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
• Work effectively within a team environment
• Assist in stock control and monitoring wastage
• Follow a high standard of food safety and hygiene practices
• Supplier liaison
• Ensuring safe work practices with focus on workplace health and safety

What we look for

• Previous experience and cooking in a similar environment as a Chef
• Commercial cooking Cert 3 (essential)
• Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
• Excellent communication skills
• Happy to work between multiple venues
• Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
• Ability to prep and organise ahead 
• HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene     
• Current Drivers Licence.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.
