We’re now looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Boulder, WA, supporting the Head Chef and helping deliver high-quality food and service every day.

About the Role

As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll help lead the team, maintain high food and safety standards, and deliver consistently great meals for our guests.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, commercial kitchen environment and enjoys mentoring and developing others.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Leading and supervising kitchen staff, including training and performance support
  • Ensuring all menu items are prepared to a high standard and available throughout service
  • Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times
  • Managing stock levels, ordering, storage, and quality control
  • Liaising with Front of House to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Stepping up to manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
  • Contributing to a positive, motivated, and professional team culture

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Senior Sous Chef or leadership role
  • Trade qualifications as a Chef
  • Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A strong customer and service focus
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
  • A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
