The Role

A fantastic opportunity is now available at the Lake Argyle Resort for an experienced and enthusiastic applicant to guide Tours and drive the bus transporting guests.

As a Tour Guide you are central to ensuring our guests experience the very highest levels of service and safety while on our tours. Tour Guides are an integral part of the properties daily operations from transfers in and out of Kununurra to Guided tours. You will also be operating the bus transporting guests and maintaining the vehicle cleanliness. As a Bus Driver you are central to ensuring our guests experience the very highest levels of service and safety while on our tours. The bus operates between 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. 

Skills & Experience

  • Highly developed Guest Service Skills
  • Strong Interest in Wildlife & Nature
  • Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously
  • Self-motivation
  • Ability to work a part of a tight knit team
  • Previous experience with Tour Guiding or within the tourism industry preferable
  • Demonstrated competency in 4WDing or completion of a 4WD course

Qualifications:

  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Driver's License
  • West Australian PTD
  • West Australian HR Licence

Note: Under the WA Road Transport Authority Guidelines, you must have a WA MR drivers licence prior to obtaining your WA PTD. Out of state PTD are non-transferrable to WA PTD.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Lake Argyle for the duration of the season.
