The Role
As the Customer Research and Insights Specialist, you will be pivotal to defining and developing customer, market, competitor, and commercial insights that shape and support the G’day Group’s marketing strategy. This will include leveraging primary and secondary data to provide strong predictive and prescriptive insights and enable data-driven decision making across marketing.
You will have a strong focus in research capabilities and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to share specialist evidence-based advice. This will include drawing together available data sources, project managing bespoke research projects, and analysing data to identify actionable insights.
This role will require you to;
· Passionate about data, being able to interpret, analyse and share key insights to various stakeholders
· Leverage primary and secondary data, conduct appropriate analysis and translate findings into actionable insights, within a fast changing organisational and market environment
· Authentically collaborate with analyst firms and research providers to lead and shape primary market research activities that inform business decisions
· Deliver insights that have clear, concise, and actionable findings, and include opportunity identification and strategy implications
· Investigate alternate data sources to provide additional insight to the business
· Ensuring all project documentation if up to date and maintain the highest levels of quality in deliverables
· Experience working both independently and across teams with strong organisational skills to adapt to emerging issues and manage competing priorities
Your Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, Business or a related discipline combined with a general understanding of data modelling techniques and visualisation tools. You will have the ability to write SQL queries and to extract data from various data sources. You will have excellent written and verbal skills which will be utilised when working across multiple teams and external stakeholders.
You will be naturally curious and possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, flexibility and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’day Group. Your naturally upbeat and open style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders.
