The Role

The Lake Argyle Inn is open seven days per week, serving great snacks and meals throughout year. With an exceptional team of Chefs and Kitchen crew they also cater for events & functions. The kitchen is open serving Breakfast & Lunch and Dinner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing general food and beverage waiting duties; meet and greet guests, taking customer orders and clearing tables
  • Ensure the consistency, quality and integrity of the food and beverage product & service
  • Ensure security procedures are adhered to including the handling of all cash
  • Assist with special events/functions and hands on operations during event days ensuring all food
  • Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with OH&S policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to principles of HACCP and requirements under the Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation
  • Other duties as directed by the positions Line Manager.

Skills & Experience

  • Fantastic customer service
  • Previous experience in hospitality industry and Food and Beverage waiting
  • Team orientated but also able to work autonomously
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Stock control experience
  • A current valid driver’s license is essential.
  • Western Australian RSA is essential
  • Food Hygiene certificates is desirable

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
