The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our Rockhampton team as a Casual Housekeeping Supervisor.
In partnership with park management, you’ll lead the housekeeping team and be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of room cleanliness in line with the Discovery Parks brand.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Housekeeping Operations – Coordinating cleaning schedules and staff rosters
- Team Supervision – Overseeing performance, supporting staff development, and assisting with recruitment
- Stock Control – Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely ordering of supplies
- Customer Service – Leading by example to ensure all staff deliver exceptional guest service and handle enquiries efficiently
- Cleaning Duties – Supporting the team in cleaning cabins, common areas, and amenities as required
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
- Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role is essential
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on priorities and guest needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- A current valid driver's license is essential

This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
