The Role

Leading a team of Food and Beverage attendants and supervisors to deliver a fantastic guest experience at one of our Unique properties at El Questro. You will be a hands-on manager, leading from the front, dealing with all guest feedback, building a strong relationship with the kitchen and activities team to ensure a smooth service all round. You will have a desire for world class food and be proud of showcasing our hospitality offering.

Duties

  • Manage a team of 8 - 15 staff members
  • Rostering, training, mentoring and building a great team culture
  • Ensuring all guests are happy with service and dealing with all feedback
  • Strong relationship building with activities team and kitchen to ensure smooth running of tour groups
  • Remain calm under pressure and encourage the same from the team through training and understanding

Skills & Experience

  • Experience managing fine dining/ a la carte restaurants
  • A desire and passion for world class food and wine
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A strong working knowledge of managing costs, budgets and meeting KPIs
  • A drive to develop and inspire your team to go ‘above and beyond’
  • An enthusiastic and energetic approach to the role.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at El Questro. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
