The Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Attendant to join our team. This will be a commuting role. You will assist with repairs and maintenance to facilities, grounds maintenance, some renovation work and irrigation and waste management. 

Skills & Experience

  • Available to work a flexible roster across Monday to Sunday as required
  • Fit and energetic
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn
  • A focus on providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Experience in accommodation or commercial maintenance including renovations
  • Previous trade employment or handyman skills, plus gardening/groundskeeping knowledge (and you love doing it!)
  • Pool maintenance experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of correct manual handling techniques and WHS awareness.
  • A current valid (manual) driver’s license is essential.
  • Forklift License is desirable

This position involves extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery. Please advise at interview stage if there anything that you can think of that would prevent you from performing these inherent requirements of the role
