The Role

Overseeing the housekeeping department at one of our three properties based at El Questro Resort. Direct a medium sized team to ensure all guest accommodation is serviced daily in line with the operational checklists.

Duties

  • Complete hands-on training of all housekeeping personnel
  • Effective communication within the department, front office and guests by providing updates on changes to resort products, improvement to guest satisfaction and team performance
  • Report maintenance requirements for guest accommodation and public areas to the Maintenance Manager, monitoring to ensure prompt action has been taken
  • Ensuring rooms for new staff arrivals are prepared
  • Ensuring the staff communal areas are kept clean and well stocked for toiletry needs

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping Management role
  • Experience at remote properties highly regarded
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team and create a fantastic work environment
  • A fun, energetic, hardworking and lively personality!
  • An admiration for living in a remote wilderness paradise and have a love for the great outdoors

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
