About the opportunity:

Based in Adelaide, SA and reporting to the Information Service (IS) Delivery Manager, you'll offer comprehensive support to Detmold Group users via email, telephone, and walk-up channels. Using remote desktop tools, you'll resolve issues promptly, serving as the primary point of contact for technical support.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Operate the IS Department Service Desk
  • Gather accurate information and diagnose initial faults for incident/problem tickets.
  • Prioritise and escalate Service Desk requests as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues based on expertise levels.
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, and device deployment within Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues 

About you: 

You will need:

  • Interest in pursuing a career in Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) Support
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
  • Experience with Microsoft office products, Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows versions 2008, 2012, and 2016.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (Use of PING, NSLookUp, Tracert etc)
  • The ability to learn new techniques and technologies, demonstrating initiative in work planning and technical problem resolution.
  • Proactive problem-solving and issue management skills.

While not essential, ITIL certification and a diploma in a related field will be highly regarded.
