Role Purpose:

As the Assistant Manager (Duty Manager), your sincere passion for providing exceptional guest service will be infectious! You will lead from the front and take a keen interest in nurturing the Front Office team, ensuring our collaborators are able to provide elevated service to our valued guests. You will be responsible for driving efficiencies across the running of the department and will use your empathetic nature to listen to our guests needs, ensuring they are excited to return, wanting more!

Skills and experience:

Your many talents will include: 

  •  A sincere passion for providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Hotel Front Office and leadership experience.
  • A love for getting the best out of your team by ensuring a positive culture along with development opportunities.
  • The ability to work with Opera PMS and a great understanding of hotel operations. 
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional service recovery when required.
  • Ability to work across a 7-day roster, including shift work.
  • Fantastic time management and organisational skills.
  • You MUST have permanent working rights allowing you to work in Australia.
