The Opportunity: 

We have an exciting opportunity for a National Disability Accommodation Funding Coordinator to join a supportive and inclusive team. This role is responsible for preparing client rosters of care and managing accurate funding set ups to ensure services are claimed correctly as delivered.

This role provides high strategic value to the Business Support unit as Claro expands accommodation services nationally. Somone with an excellent level of internal stakeholder engagement and exceptional planning and coordination skills would fit right in!

You will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

  • Work with internal and external services to ensure client’s quality outcomes directly linked to funding outputs
  • Supports strategic objectives through the delivery of comprehensive services in provision of NDIS Services and other funding streams
  • Represent Claro at all relevant meetings related to the provision all funding elements 
  • Assists with communications relevant to NDIS regarding SIL quotes, rostering, funding set ups including all funders
  • Provide specialist information and advice regarding SIL, TAC, DSOA and other funding streams, instruments and arrangements
  • Ensure all inquiries and requests regarding funding for customers is captured and actioned in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all documentation relating to customer funding is up to date and regularly reviewed per established timelines
  • Support the team to successfully establish new accommodation services while developing scalable and repeatable approaches (systems/ processes/ checklist) to enable successful processes
  • Coordinate communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and discussions with key stakeholder groups

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Knowledge of the NDIS and Supported Independent Living highly regarded, along with understanding of TAC funding. 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or and relevant extensive experience in systems administration. 
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills. 
  • Problem solving and organisational skills including time management and ability to work at a high level with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strategic data analysis skills 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • High-level interpersonal, conflict resolution and consultation skills.
  • Experience in a related field with a track record of managing, developing and implementing a number of varied projects.
  • Strong people management skills including coaching and mentoring
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, ability to present and adapt communication style based on audience
