Food and Beverage Administrator

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Food and Beverage Administrator to join our Food and Beverage department on a Full-time basis. This position reports to the Executive Food and Beverage Manager and communicates with all other departments, as well as contractors and suppliers.

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Executive Food and Beverage Manager in the timely and accurate development of documentation for all F&B outlets.
• Coordinate the F&B purchasing system. Preparation of departmental purchase orders, reconciliation of invoices and liaison with Finance.
• Staff rostering and approval of timesheets.
• General administration duties for the kitchen and F&B outlets as required.
• Formatting and printing; menus, signage and collaterals to restaurants and resort specs.
• OHS attendance and actioning compliance requirements for the F&B department.
• Coordinating internal food audits for kitchens from independent party and local department of health.
• Assist with recruitment of F&B staff.
• Maintaining logbook records to meet guidelines for Liquor license, food premise license, Building inspections and the application for extended trading permits.
• Coordinate induction and HR documentation for new employees.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Previous Hospitality Industry experience.
• Strong administrative ability, including advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• General knowledge of liquor licensing and food safety.
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly effective organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
