Senior Demand PlannerHybrid

BCF are looking for a Senior Demand Planner to lead and develop a high-performing team of Demand Planners, owning the planning, forecasting and execution of demand and fulfilment requirements so our customers can get outdoors with confidence. Shape planning strategy and unlock inventory opportunities! This is a high-impact leadership role, created through internal progression. 

How You’ll Make an Impact… 

• Manage and lead the business unit demand plan with strategy oversight and alignment to trend and promotional calendars. 
• Own inventory outcomes end-to-end: Deliver the right inventory in the right place at the right time, achieving sales and inventory budgets and related KPIs.  
• Manage purchasing and supply complexity: Translate demand into purchasing requirements while working within inventory budgets and turn expectations.  
• Lift forecasting capability & best practice: Oversee demand and replenishment planning, building consistent capability and best practices that improve forecast accuracy, in-stock position and excess outcomes.  
• People and change leadership: Leading a team of 7 direct reports – build and maintain a high performing culture and supporting, communicating and embedding change initiatives.  
• Build stakeholder relationships: Communicate and collaborate across multiple trade partners, category teams and Area managers.  

What you’ll bring… 

• Strong background in demand planning, forecasting and replenishment in a retail or fast paced supply environment.  
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams including performance feedback and career development.  
• Ability to connect planning decisions to financial outcomes and influence strategic direction.  
• Confidence managing budgets, balancing availability vs investment, and identifying opportunities and risks with clear actions.  
• Forecasting/replenishment systems experience is essential, with JDA and/or SAP exposure viewed favourably.
