We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager who leads by example, shows up with a strong work ethic, and is keen to continue developing their leadership capability.


  • Permanent full time - 5 days per week working 1 in 3 weekends -Perfect for maintaining a healthy work-life balance

About the role 

As an Assistant Store Manager, your key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have: 

  • Some leadership or supervisory experience — retail or any other industry
  • A strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn and develop
  • Someone who is dependable, proactive, and takes pride in doing a job well
  • A natural ability to motivate and inspire your team 
  • An interest in camping, boating or fishing (product knowledge is a bonus, not essential)
  • A people‑focused mindset with the confidence to step up and support the team
  • Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
