Area Manager - BCF Central VIC/TAS

We have a new opportunity for a highly experienced Area Manager to lead the continued performance and achievement of our BCF stores in Central VIC/TAS. In this position you will lead a team of approximately 10 - 12 store locations across Melbourne and Tasmania.

You will have overall responsibility for the operational management of your designated stores, whilst continually looking toward the future of your region for business improvement and operational efficiencies.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Build, motivate and guide your team to create high performing teams, with clear direction and a focus on meeting business and personal goals
  • Ensure operational delivery standards and procedures are encouraged, supported and maintained
  • Ensure the highest possible standards and compliance in all areas of store operations, merchandising, our safety culture and loss prevention
  • Oversee financial and inventory management across the stores in your area
  • Identify strategic business opportunities across the region and collaborate with the wider leadership team on strategic initiatives
  • Build strong relationships across the wider state retail operations network
  • Ensure business plans and objectives are communicated effectively to your team and stores
  • Build solutions that put the customer first to deliver exceptional outcomes

About You:

  • Inspirational leader, with a real passion for people, team culture, development and of course our customers
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of retail Area / Regional Management. We are looking for a candidate with 2 years multisite experience minimum.
  • Passionate about all things BCF to inspire our team and customers
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work with people at all levels
  • Results focused with a customer centric approach
  • Ability to travel to geographically dispersed store locations
