Where do you want to go?

We are seeking to appoint a Market Access Associate responsible for supporting and driving activities that ensure the smooth operation of the market access team, and responsible for leading the development and execution of patient access strategies to secure optimal reimbursement and pricing of Bayer Pharmaceutical products.

In this position you will be acting as a business partner by collaborating in multi-functional teams by capturing and contributing payer insights into overall business strategies.

As an integral part of the Market Access team, you will ensure the smooth running of necessary tasks such as creating accounts payable, invoice payments and rebate tracking to name a few.

  • Assist in the preparation and project management of submissions to PBAC reimbursement authority as per PBS process guidelines
  • Support preparation and submission of Price Disclosure Data
  • Represent Market Access Team in key integrated brand teams
  • Lead on Market Access orientated projects to support gaining or increasing patient access
  • Provide advice on matters relating to reimbursement and pricing matters. 

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary degree in life science, health sciences, health economics, economics or related fields
  • Up to 2 years’ experience of Market Access/HTA experience within the pharmaceutical industry or pharma consulting or other evidence-based medicine market
  • Understanding of the ANZ reimbursement processes is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills with superior written & oral communication skills
  • Learning mindset with a pro-active solution orientated attitude
  • Team player and collaborator
