Your Role

The Direct Marketing Manager is responsible for Australian Military Bank’s one-to-one communication with our members to drive growth, member experience and retention. They are also responsible for supporting lead management across distribution channels, integrated with our one-to-one email communications.

Working closely with the broader Product and Marketing team, the Direct Marketing Manager will support the go-to-market strategy to ensure an integrated approach to our marketing activities. 

Acquisition and retention communications

  • Develop our direct marketing acquisition and retention strategy including integration with our including mandatory member service communications.  

Lead management

  • Integrate email communications with distribution team lead management and member interaction touchpoints.

Service communications

  • Work with our Information Technology (IT) and third-party banking system provider to develop a roadmap of member service communications.

Project support

  • Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

About You

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:

  • Advanced communications skills
  • Experience executing emails including tagging for results tracking
  • GA4 experience
  • An interest in customer experience
  • Advance skills with Microsoft office suite
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodology
  • Experience with leveraging a CRM for member interactions
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Website CMS platform experience
