Training Development Manager

The Australian Trade Training College is recruiting for an experienced, motivated Trainer Development Manager to be part of an energetic Management Team driven in the pursuit of quality training.  We are an RTO that has had significant growth in the past two years and now require this new position to assist Heads of Departments in training and upskilling our Team of Trainers to achieve high quality training outcomes. We specialise in Apprenticeship workplace training delivery, short courses, employment skills development programs and school program delivery.

In this role you will be instrumental in the building of Trainer skills and the design and development and presentation of non-accredited training to upskill Trainers in the delivery of quality, engaging training, and skills development.

 Role:

• Identify individual training needs, qualification upgrades and further qualification attainment
• Collaborate with Heads of Department to provide support to new mentors and trainers
• Train Mentors and Trainers in classroom management and student engagement
• Train Mentors and Trainers in workplace training delivery
• Evaluate Trainer training and program delivery effectiveness
• Create and deliver Trainer training specific PD
• Monitor Trainer PD and Industry release schedules and completions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning materials and delivery

 Skills required:

• A minimum of 5 years in a Training leadership position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Training delivery skills
• Evaluation skills – ability to assess Trainer effectiveness and quality delivery standards
• Leadership skills – ability to lead and motivate training teams
• Mentoring and mentoring program development or the proven skills to create
• Experience in using aXcelerate SMS and LMS software

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Diploma (requirement)
• Diploma of Leadership and Management (desirable)
• Mentoring Certification (desirable)

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.

A current Working with Children Blue Card and National Police Check is required and can be arranged for the suitable candidate.
