Permanent Full Time Hybrid role | Flexible location: NSW, QLD, VIC

 

About the Role 

As a People Partner, you will be a strategic and trusted advisor to senior leaders across your portfolio. You’ll lead a team of People Advisors and play a key role in enhancing leadership capability, shaping team culture, and creating environments where high performance can thrive.

Your influence will help Aruma build inclusive, effective, and engaged teams that deliver exceptional support to the people we serve.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner with senior leaders to embed Aruma’s People Plan and deliver on strategic goals.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of People professionals to achieve results.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning, and performance.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance team effectiveness, cultural alignment, and leadership growth.
  • Ensure compliance with HR legislation, policies, and industrial instruments.
  • Champion wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organisation.

 

About You 

You’re a collaborative and courageous HR leader who understands the impact of culture on performance. You bring experience building cohesive, high-performing teams and know how to support leaders through both growth and complexity. 

 

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline or related experience 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in generalist HR roles, including senior advisory or partnering roles. 
  • Demonstrated experience coaching senior leaders and managing ER/IR issues. 
  • Strong understanding of contemporary people practices, legislation, and industrial instruments. 
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to relationship building. 
  • A values-aligned, people-focused approach to leadership and problem solving.
