Arinco is the Artificial Intelligence Company helping organisations become AI-first. As a specialist Microsoft partner across Australia and New Zealand, and Microsoft’s Australia Partner of the Year 2024, we combine Microsoft innovation, award-winning delivery and our Done Right™ frameworks to take customers from secure cloud and data platforms to production-ready copilots, agents and AI apps. Since 2019, we’ve partnered with more than 200 organisations across government, financial services, healthcare, retail, utilities and more.
The team
Co-Ops is our cloud-only managed services team. We support Azure-hosted customers exclusively, and our consultants don't just keep the lights on — they design, build, and improve the environments they support. Expect roughly a 50/50 split between managed services support and hands-on build and enhancement work.
We're a destination team. That means we're looking for people who want to grow technically, take ownership, and work closely with customers — not just respond to tickets.
What The role involves
- Provide level 3 support to managed services customers, covering Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfilment, Event Management and Monitoring
- Participate in a paid on-call/after-hours on a rotating roster for Major Incidents
- Deliver Azure enhancement, build and development services to customers
- Identify and implement uplift and modernisation opportunities in customer environments
- Apply an automate-first approach to improve reliability at scale
- Build, configure and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, GitHub and Git-based branching workflows
- Harden the security posture of customer environments
- Perform and automate FinOps and security posture reporting, and implement the recommendations that come out of it
- Use AI tooling to automate repetitive tasks, improve the consistency and quality of our services, and free up time for higher-value work
- Attend customer meetings (sometimes onsite) and drive outcomes
Most common tech you'll use day-to-day
- Azure API Management (APIM) for API lifecycle management, security, and integration patterns
- Azure Front Door for global routing, security, and application ingress
- Azure App Services, including Function Apps and Logic Apps, for application and integration workloads
- Asynchronous messaging, including Azure Service Bus and Event Grid
- Azure Monitor tooling, including Log Analytics, KQL, and Azure Alerts, for application observability and troubleshooting
- CI/CD and source control platforms, including Azure DevOps, GitHub
- Infrastructure as Code, using Bicep (primary) and/or Terraform to provision application platforms
- Core Azure infrastructure services that underpin application workloads (networking, security, identity)
What you'll bring
- Experience delivering, supporting, and operating Azure‑hosted applications and integration workloads
- Strong understanding of application integration patterns on Azure, including APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event‑driven architectures
- Hands‑on experience with Azure App Service based platforms, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps
- Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot application code and configuration to support Azure hosted applications and services
- Working knowledge of Azure networking concepts relevant to application delivery, including ingress, private endpoints, and hub‑and‑spoke architectures
- Experience with application focused DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git‑based workflows, environment promotion, and peer code review
- Experience querying and analysing application telemetry using KQL
- Experience with infrastructure as code, primarily Bicep and/or Terraform, to enable repeatable and scalable application platforms
- Ability to gather and scope customer requirements, document solutions clearly, and deliver against agreed outcomes or a genuine drive to build those skills quickly
- Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with customers and colleagues
- A proactive mindset you identify problems and move toward solutions rather than waiting to be asked
- Willingness to work across both infrastructure and application concerns, rather than staying in a single discipline
