Who are you and what you’ll do:
As a Consultant within our Intelligent Data Practice at Arinco you'll play a key role in the delivery of end-to-end customers projects with a focus on providing expertise in this space. You’ll also contribute to our internal engineering culture through your involvement in developing new offerings, IP and knowledge sharing.
Our ideal person will have:
- Strong proficiency in developing data platforms using Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks, with hands-on experience in data ingestion, transformation and analytics pipelines
- Proven experience in data engineering best practices, including performance optimisation, cost management and robust security across Azure data services
- Fluency in Python for building and maintaining scalable & reusable ETL/ELT processes
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environments, collaborating effectively with data engineers, architects, business analysts, project managers and other key stakeholders
In addition, the following is highly desirable:
- Demonstrated expertise in data governance and data modelling, ensuring compliance and data quality throughout the data lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with IaC technologies such as Bicep or Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure resources
- Proficiency in CI/CD workflows including GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to automate and streamline data solution deployments
Please note that we offer a flexible work environment with the opportunity to split work between home and our office. As a customer lead business you will also need to be present on customer site when required.
