What you’ll do
Join a dynamic, child-focused team as a Facilitator in our casual pool, primarily working weekends at a Christies Beach location. You will play a vital role in creating safe, welcoming environments for children and their separated parents, supporting meaningful contact and transitions.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
● Supervising contact visits between non-residential parents and their children
● Facilitating child-focused changeovers in a safe and supportive manner
● Writing observation notes and contributing to service data collection
● Building rapport with families and referring them to appropriate support services
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
● Post-secondary qualifications in human services or extensive experience supporting families and children in crisis
● A current Senior First Aid Certificate
● A Child Safe Environments Certificate
● Availability to work weekends as required
We would also love you to have:
● A strong understanding of family separation, divorce, and the impact of domestic violence on women and children
● Familiarity with referral pathways such as Circle of Security or Dad Factor
