WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

  • Modern workshop environment
  • New and fully equipped facilities
  • 4 or 5 day work week, no weekends and plenty of OT available
  • Utilising your trade skills and industry knowledge to perform operational activities to the highest standard
  • Working in a team of highly skilled tradespeople
  • Working on the overhaul, repair and manufacture of underground mining equipment
  • Assist in the mentoring and training of Androck's apprentices
  • Above award wages

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Engineering Trade Certificate 
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • 2 years post apprenticeship experience
  • Strong focus and commitment to Safety
  • Reliable transport and C class licence

APPLICANTS WITH THE FOLLOWING WILL BE HIGHLY REGARDED:

  • LF High Risk Licence to Operate Forklift Truck
  • Experience working with Underground Mining Equipment
  • Certificate IV Hydraulics / Certificate IV Engineering
  • Fitters with knowledge regarding machines such as Continuous Miners & Underground Shuttle Cars and their components

As a result of significant growth Androck are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team based in Rutherford.
