Trade Assistant

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to work out of our Mackay workshop on a full time basis. Our Service operation take pride in knowing that we're shaping the future of the mining industry and keeping its workers safe.

You will predominantly provide support within our Overhaul Transformers team, this is an opportunity suited to an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Trades Assistant or Labourer looking to take on a new challenge.

ABOUT YOU!

Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing/repairs environment will be complemented by the following:

• Can do attitude
• An ability to work unsupervised
• A strong team player willing to get your hands dirty
• Strong hand tool and attention to detail skills
• A forklift ticket – desirable, but not mandatory
• Experience in a mechanical or electrical environment desirable

This role is not a FIFO or DIDO position you must reside in Mackay or be willing to relocate to Mackay to be successful for this role.
