Are you an experienced HSEQ professional with a passion for management systems, governance and continuous improvement? Join Ampcontrol as our Systems HSEQ Business Partner and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the systems that underpin safety, quality and environmental performance across our business.

This position is primarily based at our Tomago Head Office, where you will spend most of your time managing and improving our Integrated Management System (IMS). You will also provide support to our Ingleburn operation, typically one day per week through remote engagement, with occasional site visits as required.

We are open to considering this role on either a full-time basis or a part-time arrangement (4 days per week).

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will take ownership of the ongoing management, maintenance and continuous improvement of Ampcontrol's Integrated Management System. You will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business to ensure our HSEQ systems remain compliant, effective and aligned with legislative, regulatory and business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the management, maintenance and continuous improvement of Ampcontrol's Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Review, develop and maintain HSEQ policies, standards, procedures and supporting documentation
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and coordinate updates to HSEQ systems, documentation and compliance processes
  • Support ISO certification requirements, assurance activities, internal and external audits, governance and document control across the IMS
  • Analyse HSEQ performance data, identify improvement opportunities and provide practical recommendations
  • Lead and support strategic HSEQ projects, critical risk management programs and compliance initiatives that strengthen system maturity and business capability
  • Provide practical HSEQ advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees, and participate in incident investigations, corrective actions and risk management activities where required

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Risk Management or a related discipline
  • Experience working in HSEQ, compliance, risk management or management systems roles
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Experience reviewing and developing policies, procedures and governance documentation
  • Strong auditing, reporting and analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability
  • The ability to interpret and apply legislative and regulatory requirements
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for creating practical and effective systems

Lead Auditor qualifications, Risk Management qualifications and experience within manufacturing, engineering, mining or similar industrial environments will be highly regarded.
