WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

  • Working in a team of highly skilled tradespeople
  • Carry out repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of underground mining equipment with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Assist in the mentoring and training of Androck's apprentices
  • Utilising your trade skills and industry knowledge to perform operational activities to the highest standard
  • Fulltime permanent position with an Australian owned company!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Engineering Trade Certificate 
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working with Underground Mining Equipment
  • Strong focus and commitment to Safety
  • Ability to fault find and inspect equipment.
  • Reliable transport and C class licence
  • Knowledge regarding machines such as Continuous Miners & Underground Shuttle Cars and their components
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics
