About Us

The Payroll Services Department provides payroll services and related support to all employees across Alfred Health Care Group.

About the Role

The Payroll Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Pathology onboarding project involving approximately 650 employees. Initially, this position will focus on a four-month project to transition employees from an external public hospital into the Alfred Health environment, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely onboarding and successful first-pay outcomes.

Working closely with Payroll, HRIS, HR, IT, and other key stakeholders, the Payroll Analyst will support the end-to-end onboarding process, including data validation, system uploads, compliance activities, payroll readiness, and issue resolution. A key objective of the role is to deliver a seamless employee experience throughout the transition, minimising disruption and ensuring no adverse payroll impacts.

Following project implementation, the role will transition into the operational Payroll team, providing support for business-as-usual payroll processing, workforce administration activities, and ongoing operational requirements throughout the hypercare and embedding period.

The Payroll Analyst will also provide expert advice, guidance, and support to Payroll Officers and stakeholders, maintain high standards of customer service, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and support the continued delivery of accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services across the organisation.
