The Department

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to lead and drive compliance excellence in our Payroll Services team. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen our governance, reduce risk, and ensure every employee is paid accurately and on time.

The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Director Payroll Services:

• Lead the payroll compliance and governance program of work
• Oversee auditing frameworks and payroll data integrity
• Interpret and apply complex award and enterprise agreement conditions
• Support Single Touch Payroll reconciliation and backpay calculations
• Mentor a Compliance Analyst and influence compliance culture across the function

Experience and Skills Required

You are a natural problem solver and critical thinker who thrives in complex environments. You bring:

• Extensive end-to-end payroll and compliance experienceStrong understanding of legislative and award interpretation
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in Excel, and ideally, familiarity with SAP Success Factors EC/ECP/PCC and Spinifex reporting, SQL, UKG or SuccessFactors
