The Role
Alfred Health currently has part time (72 hours per fortnight) permanent position for a Grade 5 Instrument Technician based primarily at Sandringham Hospital with potential rotations to The Alfred Hospital. Instrument Technicians work across a 24/7 roster and are responsible for the processing - from decontamination to issue of sterile instruments and equipment used in all areas of the hospital.
Prior experience in CSS is essential with 4-5 Years experience
Experience and Qualifications Required
To succeed in this position you will need to have:
- Good communication skills including fluent English written & oral skills (essential)
- The ability to learn new processes and tasks quickly and efficiently
- The flexibility and availability to work a rotating roster across 24/7
- Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in your previous employment
- Certificate 4 in Steralisation
