Applications are open for a Locum Specialist in Geriatric Medicine to join the dynamic Health of Older Persons Department at Bayside Health. The position is fixed term, commencing on (or about) 4 January 2027 to 23 August 2027 covering long service and sabbatical leave, working 14 hours per week.

The Health of Older Persons Department supervises Advanced Trainees in Geriatric Medicine and values a commitment to quality patient orientated care through collaboration and research.

Suitable applicants must:

• Be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Be a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent
• Have demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Geriatric Medicine, preferably within GEM inpatient care
• Meet Bayside Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Geriatric Medicine
