Applications are open for a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine to join the dynamic Health of Older Persons Department at Bayside Health. The position is to commence in August, working 21 hours per week.
The Health of Older Persons Department supervises Advanced Trainees in Geriatric Medicine and values a commitment to quality patient orientated care through collaboration and research.
Suitable applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Geriatric Medicine , preferably within GEM inpatient care, as well as meeting Alfred Care Group requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Geriatric Medicine.
