The Department

The Digital Health Division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely, quality care to our patients and carers through innovative use of information technologies, and through strategic management of information and data across the organisation.

The Digital Health division encompasses all aspects of:

  • Information technology procurement, delivery, security and support.
  • Electronic Medical Record and a suite of Clinical Applications, Technologies and Products
  • Digital Technology
  • Data Governance and research
  • Cybersecurity
  • Transformation 

The Role

The Change Lead will plan, coordinate and deliver change management activities within the Bayside Digital Identity and Microsoft Foundations Program, supporting digital identity, secure access, Microsoft 365 foundations, tactical collaboration and related transition activities across Bayside Health.

The role will work closely with Digital Health teams, care group representatives, Public Affairs, Architecture, Security, project teams, vendors and other stakeholders to assess change impacts, support stakeholder readiness, develop communication and engagement materials, coordinate user preparation and help embed new ways of working.

The Change Lead will help ensure program changes are introduced in a staged, practical and coordinated way, supporting staff understanding and adoption while minimising disruption across a complex merger environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the program change approach, change plan, stakeholder engagement plan and adoption activities for assigned program initiatives.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis and readiness assessments across affected care groups, business areas and Digital Health teams.
  • Support tactical collaboration rollout planning, including user readiness, communication, guidance, feedback and adoption support for agreed staff groups.
  • Support Microsoft 365 foundation change activities relating to email pathway, Teams, meetings, SharePoint, OneDrive, document collaboration and future ways of working.
  • Support digital identity and secure access change activities, including stakeholder engagement for identity lifecycle, access changes, role-based access and priority system dependencies.
  • Work with project managers, business analysts, technical teams and vendors to ensure change impacts are understood and incorporated into project planning and delivery.
  • Develop clear communication materials, user guidance, FAQs, briefing packs, presentations and adoption content in collaboration with Public Affairs and relevant program stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workshops, briefings, user engagement sessions, change network activities and feedback loops to support understanding and readiness.
  • Identify training and support needs and work with relevant teams to develop practical learning materials, quick reference guides and transition support.
  • Track adoption, readiness, feedback and change risks, and provide reporting to program governance forums.
  • Identify resistance, change fatigue, stakeholder concerns and adoption risks and support practical mitigation actions.

 

Skills:

  • Proven experience working as a Change Lead, Change Manager, Senior Change Analyst or similar role on ICT, digital, transformation or organisational change projects.
  • Strong change management capability, including change impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, readiness planning, communications, training support and adoption measurement.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across clinical, corporate, technical, operational and leadership groups.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to translate technical changes into clear and practical messages for staff and business stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills, including workshops, briefings, readiness sessions and feedback discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple concurrent streams in complex and changing environments.
  • Strong written communication skills, including preparation of change plans, impact assessments, communication materials, user guidance and status reporting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, digital workplace, digital identity, secure access, merger, consolidation or technology transition initiatives will be highly regarded.
  • Change management certification or training such as Prosci / ADKAR, Change Management Institute, APMG or similar will be advantageous.
