The Department
The Department staff provide anaesthesia, pain management, resuscitation (including trauma), and referral services for the Alfred Hospital and the Bayside Network. The Department plays an active role
in medical student education for Monash University. The department has a busy and dynamic research unit, with a variety of in-house and multi-centre trials in progress at any one time. For further

To assist Research Manager, Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, in the fulfilment of core values for the organization's research mission. The Research Assistant promotes the hospital's
vision: to be a driving force in Australia's leading health care system; advance the practice and science of health care; provide a link between highly complex clinical care, research and the people who do
both; and to better health for the individual and community
About you
You have demonstrated ability to support the efficient and effective operation of a research office or administrative department. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Experience undertaking general office duties, including answering and directing telephone calls, coordinating appointments, preparing documents, maintaining filing systems, photocopying, and arranging meetings.
