The Department
The DAMP team provides neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people aged 3 - 26 years. There is usually a question of Autism Spectrum Disorder, amidst other co-occurring conditions and bio-psycho-social factors that complicate diagnostics and contribute to co-occurring social, emotional and behavioural concerns.
The Role
This position is a contract till 10th May 2026, part-time 0.6 EFT (3 days per week – Mon – Wed), based at Alfred ICYAMHWS in Moorabbin, on the Developmental Assessment & Management Program (DAMP), which is part of the Neurodevelopmental Stream.
The incumbent will work with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to the developmental assessment, subsequent formulation, case management and support to families and the child’s or young person’s external network.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor and/or Masters of Occupational Therapy or equivalent from a recognised school of Occupational
Therapy - Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA)
- Eligibility for membership to O.T. Australia
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in child and youth mental health
