The Roles

The Endocrinology department is seeking applications for a Locum Specialist in Endocrinology due to fixed term funding. The following positions are available, please advise us your interest(s) in your cover letter.

  • Menopausal Connecting Care Clinic – 2x positions at 0.1 EFT each
  • Postmenopause bone clinic – 3x positions at 0.1 EFT each

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
  • Fellowship of the relevant college(s).
  • Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Endocrinology, especially managing menopause and osteoporosis.
  • Meets Bayside Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Endocrinology.
  • Strong communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
