Exciting Opportunity: Endorsed Nurse Practitioner Speciality Sexual Health at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre
Are you a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in sexual health? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre!
Key Information about this Role:
- The sexual health nurse practitioner will work clinically within the scope of practice for this speciality.
- As part of a team of three NPs, you will work collaboratively to provide a nurse practitioner service at MSHC.
- For new positions, there is a period of at least three months of collaborative practice with a medical mentor using an evaluation framework.
- Nurse Practitioner - Community Health.
Essential Qualifications for this Role and Key Selection Criteria
- Endorsed Nurse Practitioner by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Specialty in sexual health.
- Evidence of competent utilisation of extensions to advanced nursing practice according to approved Clinical Practice Guidelines in the clinical area.
- Current endorsement. This is not a candidate position.
- Endorsement (or eligible experience) as a Pap Test Provider in Victoria.
- Completed a Masters of Nurse Practitioner (or a Masters granted equivalence of qualification by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency plus an approved Therapeutic Medication Management module).
- Nurse immuniser.
