THE DEPARTMENT
Health Information Services provides medical record document scanning and importing, statutory reporting, Information Release to other health services, transcription and clinical communications across The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham Hospitals.
POSITION SUMMARY
Alfred Health's HIS departments have a permanent part-time opportunity in the role of HIS Clerk, primarily based at The Alfred Hospital.
In this position your role will include release of Information to external health services, document collection from clinical areas, preparation, scanning, quality checks, validation and archiving of medical record documents.
Other HIS administrative duties may be included in this role.
This position is rostered for Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and every Public Holiday.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Year 12 graduate or relevant experience
