Alfred Health

Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. On 1 January 2026, Alfred Health will come together with Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service to create Bayside Health, a newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

Department

The Public Affairs and Communications team is the custodian of Alfred Health's reputation as one of Australia's leading health services.Relationships with stakeholders, government, community and our staff are central to what we do.Our dedicated team support the organisation's day-to-day operations as well as its longer-term strategic plans.  

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Digital Project & Content Producer to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple significant website projects. This hands-on role requires a strong understanding of web development processes, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Working closely with the creative team, web developer and internal stakeholders, this role will provide effective project coordination to ensure the new websites are user-friendly, intuitive, and aligned with business goals. They will be responsible for reviewing, creating, editing and updating content on the new websites.  They may also assist in developing content for social media, EDM and the Alfred digital screen infrastructure.

Experience and Qualifications required

  • 2–5 years of experience in managing website or digital projects and UX design
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proven track record of website content development
  • Experience developing and managing content collection strategies
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of CMS platforms (Expression Engine desirable)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
