The Department
Respiratory Medicine at The Alfred provides specialist consultative services throughout the breadth of respiratory medicine and allergic diseases and includes four clinical Services, Lung Transplantation, Cystic Fibrosis, General Respiratory & Sleep Medicine and Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology. These services are supported by our Physiology Service and Sleep Laboratory.
Position Summary
The Pulmonary Hypertension Service requires a Clinic / Research Nurse to support the day to day activities of this patient group. The service has two dedicated outpatient clinics per week and various research activities. This casual position is to cover leave for our established Clinical Nurses to enhance and drive our research opportunities and support our outpatient clinic activity.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current practising certificate
- Minimum 5 years acute nursing experience
- Experience in Respiratory Medicine and research desirable
