About us
The Alfred ICU is a university attached quaternary referral centre, providing State Service for heart and lung transplantation (including paediatric lung transplantation), artificial heart technology, extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), burns trauma and hyperbaric medicine. It also provides Victoria’s Adult Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hyperextension Services.

The Intensive Care Unit is a state-of-the-art facility with 68 beds, funded to 61 equivalents, admitting more than 3,000 patients a year.
About the role
Be part of a collaborative, innovative and dedicated team.
Our equipment technician team play a vital role in how we manage our equipment and support the ICU team in how they deliver care everyday. You will work collaboratively under the guidance of our ICU equipment manager, with all members of the interdisciplinary team to streamline and improve our equipment management.

About you
- Problem-solving and risk assessment abilities and the ability to use initiative
- Excellent communication, time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your work and deliver to deadlines
